Rebecca Paris (formerly Rebecca Becker) loved to draw and paint since she was a child, and was particularly interested in faces.  Keenly fascinated by the human experience, she was also attracted to the field of psychology. However, her parents convinced her to take a more practical route and study business.  After graduating from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Marketing/Management, she chose a career in advertising and marketing, a blend of business, art and psychology. She worked in the Account Management side of Ogilivy & Mather Atlanta and BBDO South, and subsequently became V.P. of Marketing & Communications at United Way of Atlanta.

After taking some time off to be a full-time mom, she returned to her passion for portraiture.  She studied privately under nationally-known artist, Donna Cassaro Hughes.   In 2007,  Rebecca’s career took off as a commissioned custom portrait artist, specializing in children and pets. She has produced over 70 custom portraits to date.  To expand her artistic expression, she branched out to painting abstracts and landscapes.   While in Atlanta, her work was annually displayed at the Cherokee Town Club Members’ Art Show and sold at Trinity’s “Spotlight on Art” Artists’ Market and many charity auctions.  Her work is currently being exhibited at Frame It Asheville.

In 2018, her journey took a spiritual turn and she was guided to found Raisingthevibe.org, a platform for raising consciousness. Raising the Vibe focuses on self-actualization tools, holistic healing and ascension/embodiment techniques. Right after her son graduated from high school, she followed a tremendous soul urge to relocate, from Atlanta, to a rural area of Western North Carolina (close to Asheville). She left her old life and name, Rebecca Becker, and started a new, more inner-directed stage in life.

In addition to painting and blogging, she is now a Spiritual Guide, consulting on ascension basics, astrology by the degree, walk ins/soul braids, the physics of our holographic universe, and the organic vs. inorganic matrix of reality, among other topics. Her perspective on our inorganic “Matrix” of reality is elucidated in the free ebook, “The Matrix Resurrections Unraveled” .

As a Gene Keys Guide, she offers one-on-one sessions to illuminate an individual’s unique profile to help her clients contemplate their shadows and transform them into the gifts that are hidden in their DNA.
